SONGLING develops the Rotary drum dryer with innovative technology used for needle coke drying. The Rotary drum dryer consists of a horizontal drum which rotates around its axis, membrane tubes inside which the heating medium flows, and the materials to be dried moves with internal fins inside the drum.
From year 2011, Songling’s technical center was doing their effort to modify and optimize the design of rotary drum cooler to make it be used for other non-power industries like petrochemical, solid waste, metallurgy, steel industries, etc.
Now rotary drum cooler is successfully used for cooling various bulk materials like Calcined coke, Needle coke, Semicoke, Graphite anode materials, Magnesium reduction, Manganese reduction, Steel slag, etc.
